Its pretty flakey here too.
Mark,
We applied several fixes in the last two days.
The search engine is working as expected again.
We're able to go back further than 500 messages in each of the forums again.
What was done should have had no effect on Chrome and no issues have been seen in any of the other browsers. We've done some research on the Chrome issue and have ruled out available resources on both the server and the users PC's. The last piece would be the code that runs the forums and it works in every browser except Chrome. It was runnnig in Chrome before the last Chrome update.
The issue gives the impression the page is waiting to load, as if its waiting for more data from the server. Yet by using any other browser you can see that the server is sending all of the data.
I just spent an hour in the Google Chrome Forums and the present version is having issues on a lot of different Forums. More specifically its having a problem with any site that takes advantage of the AJAX programming language. This site uses AJAX a lot, so there might not be a fix until Google releases an update for Chrome.

Eddy,,
One of the many things I don't understand is why when Chrome is acting up with Roadkill, I can access the Tech section with no problem. I can't answer about the other sections.
Once again, we really do appreciate your knowledge and devotion Eddy....

Mark,
I just downloaded Chrome Beta 10.0 and you'll be happy to know it opens the RoadKill again. It looks like they fixed it. |

Mine has been working... It just has trouble for the first day or two. I had the same trouble with my broker link when they updated their soft ware.
I read about it on another site. The IT guy tests with 7 or 8 broswers, and all were OK except Google.... he explained it and why, Not that I understood it LOL . |
