Bedford seems to easy I'm gonna guess AWD but the little voice in my head says someone US used that cab on a military truck [got to stop listening to the voices]:)

Well let's see now.

Looks like a standard British Army Bedford to me, but desert camo and left hand drive I'm noting, so probably ex-Kuwait or the like.

REME is the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, maybe ended up or surplussed in Canada or the US.

They are actually superceding all this type now with MAN trucks.

The design is clearly a Bedford TM but maybe there was a North American production like with the ATC Tatras and the Magna/Bombardier Steyrs. Of course, earlier there was a clear UK-US connection because Bedford was a part of GM and in fact the TMs (in road haulage form) were offered with DD engines in the UK and Europe. I would not put it pasr GM to import one or two for evaluation purposes. Later, GM sold the rights to the larger Bedfords to the English AWD company who evetually went bankrupt...
