The Pierce-Arrows have it. This is billed as a 1924 Pierce-Arrow, and looks to be built on their new Z model chassis which was designed especially for bus and fire engine service. This does not have the trademark P-A headlights on the fenders, although many Z models did. This fire truck is also said to have a P-A V12 engine, but that is only possible if this truck was rebuilt in the 1930's or later. Pierce-Arrow introduced their V12 engine in November of 1931 for use in their luxury automobiles. I am fairly certain no P-A trucks or fire engines left the factory with a V12. Of course, P-A would sell their V12 engine design and tooling to Seagrave in the mid '30's, and thousands of Seagraves were equipped with these V12's. Dan Souday had this first; thanks to Jesse Walter for the WAI photo and Dan for the others.

that truck didnt come with a v12 it came with a 6 cylinder engine which was replaced with the 12 cause the 6 cylinder motor was put in a pierce arrow car to make the car more valuable. and its not the original paint and the bell isnt original. but all in all a awesome truck
