This dump truck is still in its work clothes. Emblem removed. Photo from Don MacKenzie.

The jaunty slant of the louvers on the hood and the rolled outine on the cab door also smack of Relay.

Nice solid old truck!  I like it.

it's great to see these kept is such good condition.

Have there been other Relays in WAI?  There's a good original Relay that gets to trucks shows, how many survive?

What we have here is a jaunty Relay, around a 1930 model I think. I have to agree with Bruce that this survivor is in pretty good shape. We have run Relays in the WAI about a 1/2 dozen times in the past, including the other truck Bruce mentions which is owned by ATCA chairman Jim Widmann. I watched Jim try to pull start his Relay dump truck at Macungie a few years ago, with that patented Relay oscillating rear axle every time he popped the clutch it looked like the whole rear end was going to come out from under the truck. it was quite a sight. Jack Amaral has this 1st; thanks to Don MacKenzie for the photo.
