Congratulations to the Esco men indeed ! This truck is a 1935 Esco, with a Continental engine that gould operate on either gasoline or fuel oil. This idea must not have been very successful, in fact I don't think Continental ever had a successful diesel engine. Esco trucks were built by the Exhibitors Service Company, whose main business was delivering motion picture film to theaters. Esco truck were built from 1933 to 1937, with a few more built in 1945 when other models were not available. All in all a total of 60 Esco trucks were manufactured. Interestingly this model Esco uses the same cab as a Ward LaFrance of the time.
