She's a Freightliner alright. If this truck looks familiar it is because we ran a different photo of it in the WAI back in November. Since then Rocky Blakewood has found a couple of additional pictures, and pegged the year at 1956. So far it appears this 6x6 halfcab may have been a one of a kind built expressly for the Ready Mix Concrete Company of Portland. Our WAI photo was taken at Freightliner's Emerson St. assembly plant in Portland. I'm sure if Rocky unearths any more info on this fascinating truck he will let us know. Stretch had this 1st. Thanks to Rocky for these 2 great new images.
