I have been working on an 83 Astro for about a year. We rebuilt the jack and cylinder and the jack had issues. It has now completely quit now. I have contacted power packer to get a new one. No one there can figure it out. They said a Euro jack is what I need and cant get any answers. This has been going on well over a month. Any ideas on a correct part #? or source?

I would try a truck dealer of any brand. Those jacks were common, I would think, between manufacturers. Take your old with you. My Mack dealer put a new on my Mack MH 2 years ago. Good luck. Welcome to our forum and come back often.

Fred

Ahhh, there's nothing like the smell of diesel fumes in the morning.

The unfortunate thing is alot of these parts guys look at you like you are speaking Chinese. I went to a major pats supplier for a water pump for a 6V-92 and the guy had never heard of one .

I called the local Volvo/ Mack dealer and a couple more with no luck. I found Ohio Hydraulics and they figured out which pump I needed. It is on the way.
