Those were interesting vehicles, they were buses that could be quickly converted to medical evacuation vehicles. Sorry I don't have any pictures of them, but here is some information you may find useful:

I knew you well, American friends, when you were in Lorraine,

I was (we) were young and admired all these beautiful Americans, we who did not have pretty cars yet

And then also these big khaki "trucks" which crisscrossed our roads

And since I became interested in trucks, little by little, European trucks have modernized over the years

Tout d'abord, désolé mais je ne parle pas votre langue, hélas !!!

Je vous connaissais bien, amis américains, quand vous étiez en Lorraine,

J'étais (nous) étions jeunes et admirais toutes ces belles Américaines, nous qui n'avions pas encore de jolies voitures

Et puis aussi ces gros "camions" kaki qui sillonnaient nos routes

Et depuis que je me suis intéressé aux camions, petit à petit, les camions européens se sont modernisés au fil des ans

J'envoie un petit message car modéliste en même temps je fabrique un FAGEOL Twin Coach de l'US ARMY que j'ai vu tous les jours en allant à l'école, ceci à l'échelle 1 / 43ème dans "Evergreen"

Je n'ai pas trouvé beaucoup de photos, si l'un des membres en avait, cela m'aiderait beaucoup
