Hello,

I am curious to know if anyone has recently installed a Deutz in their new/newer conventional in the US or Canada. I have been getting ideas of a Deutz 1015/2015 in a new Peterbilt 389. What are your thoughts? The engine looks fantastic on paper and Im thinking the technology in heavy duty gas engines has come far enough that it may just be a viable option for highway trucks again. Im looking specifically at the CD2015 V8. Its rated for 590 HP and 1954 FT/LBS.http://https://www.deutz.com/fileadmin/contents/com/engines/nutzfahrzeuge/en/1015_2015_Automotive_EN.pdf
