Hello Bruce! Thanks very much for the reply! My 5th grade teacher gave me this truck that belonged to her father. I have restored several newer(1966 on ) trucks and cars, but this one was way before my time. I'm disassembling it now to sandblast the frame and hopefully have the engine rebuilt. I'd appreciate anything you can share with me as far as where to find any specs. or parts. I'm actually a homebuilder just about to retire and have a small cattle farm here in Northern Va. I just enjoy tinkering with tractors/trucks in my spare time. Thanks so much for your interest,
Best, John

Hello Jellyman,

Good to hear about your project. If you want to contact me, PM me here or look at the White Truck meet-up info in the neighboring post.

I was gifted this truck and want to restore it. It was used to haul cattle trailer up until about 1975 then parked in a barn until now! Body is in pretty good shape. Motor is locked up. Any information would be helpful. I plan to have motor rebuilt at local machine shop if possible. I'm an old farm boy and can do most of the mechanic parts/bodywork/painting. Are any parts available or do I have to rig things. ie. brake pads, bushings. Is this truck originally 6 volt? (No battery)Would really appreciate any advice. All my older buddies are all deceased and I don't know where to get any information.
