Here is a picture of Roland taken in 2014 when several of us Classic White Truck members visited him in San Diego. This picture was taken at the Cabrillo Monument overlooking San Diego Bay.

Roland Smith, aka the "Great White Father" passed on 11/8/2021 due to numerous recent ailments. Roland was one of the driving forces behind the "White" truck groups that were formed to support and promote them. His father owned a "White" dealership in Janesville, Wisconsin and as a teenager Roland would drive trucks from Chicago to Janesville for his father. Roland was also one of the first presidents of ATHS and I think was the convention chairman at the first truck show. I attempted to find the old Showtimes that were here on the site but I could not find them to verify my memory. Please correct or add to my post. RIP Roland.
