Unfortunately I have not been able to locate any manuals for my 94 White/GMC WHL that describe the cab/chassis operation for raising the cab. I hate to ask questions that are probably so fundamental to most, but I recently replaced a cab jack on my truck and now I am trying to understand what the limiter mechanisms are for raising the cab. I have read some thread that say there are no limiters, but that hard for me to believe a issue like hasn't been addressed.

I did notice their is a shock, not hooked up, on the passenger side at the front of the truck where the cab pivots or tilts on. It almost looks like it might be used to cushion the over center cab tilt, but again I am not sure.

Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
