It is a TREND,, I may be mistaken but I think It was only produced as a Diamond Reo??

This would depend on if it was built before or after May 1st, 1967..

These were both Diamond Reo and Reo prior to the merge. But,I'm going with Bill. White briefly used this cab as well.

It's a crap shoot. At one time or another the TREND was offered by WHITE, DIAMOND T, REO and DIAMOND REO. You pick 'em. I'll pick DIAMOND T since no one else has.

Pretty tough to tell which version as I think the only change was the name plate. The driver's mirror is off of a 1980's Chevy though.

A local oil dealer had one new. It was powered by a 327 Chevrolet engine.

It's a Trend alright, and a crapshoot too. About all you can do here is just take your best shot. This just happens to be one of those briefly built White Trends, an HD240 model. And it sounds like everyone under the White banner in the mid '60's except Autocar built these. I don't know a lot about these except that the only other one I have seen is Howard Fugitt's Diamond Reo with the optional camper. Bill White had this 1st. Thanks to Daryl Gushee for the photo. The photos of Howard Fugitt's camper are mine from Huntsville.

If anyone is interested, I think this truck can be bought. It's at a salvage yard about 4 miles from here.
