Be wary and careful of JPG files in email

Just a friendly head's up that our IT provider, how is part of an FBI cyber security task force, issued a notice yesterday that now the hackers have figured out how to put malware/virus/spyware on JPG image files, so opening a JPG photo could have more pain than enjoyment.

It's real and not a joke. While 99.9% of JPGs from people you know are likely safe, that one that gets your system infected is the one that causes the pain.

Hopefully the virus scanning will have an update to include this new malicious code hiding in photos, but for the time being, stay on your toes.

Hackers make me angry!! It would be nice (but it's not possible) if the FBI could catch all of these idiots and put them in jail and keep them there where they belong!!
