Satin was a good choice. Really cleaned up nicely.

Nice work.
Did you make a little spray booth out of that scaffold frame ?

No spray booth. Just have other projects going on. Come to find out some history on my Transtar. I was sanding my door and discover she was a WA State Fisheries Truck.

My goal was to sand the door down to 220 grit and experiment with some clear coats. I used a satin Napa Auto parts clear primer used for other surfaces. Then placed a radiated heater on facing the painted door. We'll see how long it lasts. You can still see the image from the rust pits. The pic is turned sideways. http://forums.aths.org/Uploads/Images/67a7a560-1b69-4f8d-a6b0-4de5.jpg

Last clear let water in and door began to rust. Trying some 2X Rustoleum this time.
