Catalog pages for the IH "M-6123-CBE" indicate that it came with an IH "FA-184" front drive axle. The description reads like it "might" be a "Coleman Model-18" steerable front drive axle, re-branded with an IH part number. Does anyone know for sure?

I don't know for sure, or how to check, but I do know that IHC used front driving axles both of the M-H design and that of the Coleman design with IHC's center sections installed. It allowed for an easy match of both front and rear driveaxle ratios.
