Mack CH stalling

I have a 2002 Mack CH 427 it will run fine and then shut down codes 6-4 always will start again sometimes dash loses power to gauge then comes back like circuit breaker gets hot and sometimes 8-4 on start up that goes away when driving. I don't know where to start looking any and all help would be great thanks in advance

Oh no. My guess is that you have a bad connection somewhere in the wiring harness. All it takes is a little nick and the stuff they spray on the roads in winter will attack the wiring.
Best I can offer is to get it running in the shop, then start grabbing the harness and pull and push and shake to see if you can get it to shut down, then keep working out until you find the exact spot. Unfortunately a bad ground could also cause the cluster to go "dark".
It is my opinion that more newer trucks get "retired or scrapped" not because they "wear out" but because the complicated electrical/electronics are too costly to diagnose or repair.
Sorry I can offer more, my newest truck is a 1992!
