I have an opportunity to purchase a TecBrake engine brake for my '64 Mack B67 with ENDT-673 engine.  I know nothing about this particular engine brake.  I have read that it's a copy of the popular Jacobs engine brake.  Would any of you know about TecBrake's reliability, serviceability and longevity?  Also, is this a bolt-on kit not requiring any significant modificaiton of my engine?  Any info would help.  Thanks!

it is supposed to be an exhact duplicate of the jake.. ie jake parts fit the tec, and tec parts fit the jake...

if you do some googling, you can find the installation manual etc..

i think an outfit in allentown pa is the distributor...

this is for a ENDT 675, but it schould be almost the same for all 2 valve mack....
