Ihcdiamondreo (we have to get you a shorter name or more spaces or something LOL !) got this rare truck right off the bat, this is a 1917 Velie Model 26-B 3.5 ton truck. Velie trucks were 1st built in 1911, and over the years built models from 1/2 to 4 tons. In 1925 & 1926 no Velie trucks were built, mostly due to poor company management, but production resumed in 1927. In October 1928 Willard Velie died suddenly of an embolism, and 5 months later his son died of heart failure. If this was not enough of a blow, 5 months later the stock market crashed and the Velie company closed its doors. Thanks to Dan Souday for this photo.
